Parish Council Planning Committee

Mission

o        To establish and maintain a formal, on-going planning process which includes all aspects of Parish life;

o        To establish a 3 to 5 year strategic planning process, by working with the parish leadership to develop and update a long-range planning report to provide a frame of reference for the development of the parish’s annual operational goals and objectives;

o        To establish a 12-month planning process to facilitate the development of overall parish goals and objectives which should be reflected in the annual budget;

o        To conduct regular reviews of the progress for achieving the parish goals and objectives, and recommend adjustments as appropriate;

o        To conduct end-of-year review of the parish goals and objectives utilizing the current strategic planning report;

o        To provide training, as appropriate, for Pastoral Council members, committee members, and staff, in how to utilize the planning process to determine their short-term goals and objectives while keeping with the overall parish goals and objectives

  • Membership  

    o        The Parish Planning Committee shall be composed of a member of the Parish Staff and at least five (5)parishioner chosen in consultation with the pastor.
