Links to help with Religious Education

There are many wonderful links on the internet that can help a family with Religious Education. Please explore these to see what may work best for your family.

Additional links can also be found on the Links page of the parish website.

Faith First is hosted by Resources for Christian Living (RCL), the publishers of the text series used in Religious Education for the Elementary program and the Family Program. They have many types of resources including different pages for age groups that have games, opportunities to submit questions, and information on many subjects.

Whole Community Catechesis is a website that has a question for each week of the liturgical year based on the readings for the Sunday. You may find it helpful to use to discuss the Sunday readings or just faith in general.

Benziger Family Life is the program we use to teach the family life and human sexuality material. This website may be helpful for families and catechists to find ways to help children learn about themselves and their responsibility as part of a faith community.

The following sites are sponsored by other religion text publishers:

Blest Are We - Silver, Burdett, & Ginn
We Believe Web - Sadlier
Call to Faith - Harcourt
Christ Our Life - Loyola Press - you don't need to register to use most of the site

Here are some additional sites just for fun:

Please let the Religious Education office know if you have any favorite links that we can pass on to the rest of the parish. We'll check them out and post them here in the future.
