FAMILY RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM
A wonderful opportunity for families to learn about the Catholic faith together

The Family Program offers families the prospect of studying and sharing together their faith development. Materials are provided that have been developed to be used at home and are appropriate for children and adults. It has theme oriented sessions and ideas for activities and discussion for the whole family. Additional materials are provided on the Sunday readings and how we can apply them to our daily lives as Catholic Christians.

Those families registered in the Family Program are also invited to attend 4 gatherings of all families enrolled in the program. These sessions give those in the program an opportunity to gather as a community to share their faith and participate in a common learning experience. Families are asked to help plan these gatherings as part of a team of 3-4 other families. In addition each family is asked to do: 2 service projects throughout the year, and after each lesson  parents complete a Parent Lesson Summary and each child completes a Reflection Sheet and/or chapter reviews online at www.faithfirst.com.  For more details, please view Components of 2008-09 Family Rel Ed Program
